Trekking Donegal offer walks, treks and tours around Co. Donegal, North West Ireland. We also run yearly expeditions to the Himalayas, offering people the chance to get a glimpse of the highest peak in the world.
Co. Donegal has often been called 'the best kept secret in Ireland', as until very recently it has been off the usual tourist trails. This was largely due to poor access to and from the county as well as a lack of tourism promotion. The creation of Donegal Airport and improvements to major roads are now allowing greater access into the county, and in the past few years the Irish government has invested in promoting the county's beauty both nationally and internationally. So the secret is finally getting out.

Trekking Donegal's base is in the Derryveagh Mountains and therefore most of our walks and treks run here. We are based and linked with Sleepy Hollows Campsite which has tent, caravan, chalet, hostel and hut accommodation. We have created 2 day, 4 day and week long treks and tours that you can see by clicking 'Upcoming Treks &Tours' above. The shorter tours stay mostly in the Derryveagh Mountain Rage whereas the week long one has been designed to show you the best of what's listed above. As well as our set dates for tours we are open to customizing tours for your group at any time we have available.
